dc.description.abstract Data visualization is very important in the field of geology and geophysics. For visualization, scientists use the data obtained from geological surveys and experiments. Through these visualizations, they find the relationship among the variables plotted on screen. This gives them the clearer idea about the surface of the earth. But the problem arises when data contains more variables that can be plotted on a single visualization. Another problem, when they tend to fine the correlation between the variables which are on different visualization. Hence, the idea of 3D Cross Plot emerged. Through 3D Cross Plot scientists can visually analyze the different aspects of data in multiple types of visualizations and gain a visual sense of the correlation between different variables and visualizations. It enables scientists to visualize the results of surveys/experiments in 3D environment with cross referencing to simultaneously running visualizations. 3D Cross Plot Graphics engine allows its users to interact and customize the currently running visualizations. en_US
