dc.description.abstract | Kitchen is the unique place also known as "Heart of Home". We are living in digital era where technology is increasing day by day. Improvement in the technologies, made our day-to-day life simpler. The technologies implemented using lOT at homes made it smatter. Internet of Thing (lOT) is ali about physical items talking to each other, machineto- machine communications and person-to-computer communications extended to things. The goal is to create a better world for human beings, where objects around us know what we like, what we want, and what we need, and hence act accordingly without explicit instructions. Kitchen environment monitoring is one of the important measures to be closely monitored in real time for safety, security and comfort of people. Smart kitchen is a technologically advanced system that incorporates interactive services. It is android based system which used multiple sensors to provide all the necessary information to user regat·ding gas leakage and wastage of water and detection of smoke and temperature. With tremendous improvement in technology, all devices are connected to the internet which forms the internet of things. The sensors are used to collect the data and send them to a host where it is intended to be processed over the internet. This is possible through conununication between certain devices that are connected through the internet, wireless sensor networks and smart phones. These devices in the system are able to perceive process and deliver the information as per the programming. This system can be used at homes and public building such as hotels and restaurants. | en_US |
