dc.description.abstract Solar energy is one of the most convenient energy sources and will turn into a probable solution for sustainable energy supply in the near future. Many countries are investing in solar power plants. Pakistan recently invested 131 million dollars in a project of developing a huge solar park in Bahawalpur (Quaid-e-Azam Solar Park). More and more people are investing in solar plants, so there is a thriving need for monitoring the data obtained from solar photovoltaic plants in order to maintain the grid stability and optimize the overall performance of the solar photovoltaic plants. Local monitoring is impossible for every installer hence monitoring remotely is fundamental for every solar power plant. We will use the power of the Internet of Things (IoT) for monitoring the real-time generation data obtained from solar photovoltaic plants by applying advanced computational facilities and digital technologies en_US
