Trusted shopping platform for buyers and sellers

Abstract

People are becoming more inclined towards online shopping rather than going out themselves to buy something, because scrolling through products from the comfort of one’s home and getting the product delivered at your doorstep is without a doubt a convenient method of shopping. As the trend of online shopping has increased, the number of scams people face has also increased exponentially. Though there are websites of famous brands providing a reliable way of online shopping but there isn’t a trustworthy platform for small scale sellers or people selling from home. Such sellers either use Facebook groups, Facebook pages or WhatsApp group etc. The victims of online shopping are mostly the people buying products from people selling through these platforms, so we aimed to design a trustworthy mobile application for buyers, sellers and re-sellers where sellers can list products directly for sale to buyers. All sellers and buyers have feedbacks, ratings and reviews publicly available. Sellers and Buyers can interact directly via live sessions. Buyers can also bargain by bidding on a product
