VOICE-BASED EMAIL SYSTEM FOR BLIND PEOPLE

Abstract

In today’s world professional communication is carried out through email providers such as Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo etc. as they are easy-to-use and provide fast services. However, the visually impaired people would find it very difficult to use such technologies because it requires them to have visual perception as well as a lot of practice through understanding the flow of the email system, this paper aims at developing a cost-effective email system that focuses on being usable even by novice visually impaired users to use the services of email providers. This system will work on converting speech to text, and text to speech . Actions would be performed through commands spoken by the users which will make it user-friendly and efficient to use. There was previous system but they were not totally voice based. They used to work on mouse click and few functions were based on voice so we have made this software which is completely based on voice commands and the user doesn’t need to use keyboard as he can control the whole E-mail System through voice.
