| dc.description.abstract | Recently, security problems have grown dramatically, it is important that everyone should be able to protect their property from physical damage such as theft, property destruction, etc. With the booming technology in the modem world, the methodologies used by thieves and burglars have also improved while stealing. The latest technologies are used to detect the theft to secure our property and can have alerts remotely. So therefore we propose our project “IOT based theft detection by monitoring remote alerts. Raspberry pi is a MasterCard-size computer which have used in our project along with the pi camera and 5V power supply. A completely new methodology was developed to detect motion as compared to existing system. Our project contributes to two major parts. First, when motion is detected, the user receives a message on the push bullet app attaching the image and video alerts as well as receives the email alerts. And second is quick analysis of image formats with respect to disk size, recommending which alert format to while notifying the remote user should be used. With these elements, an effective, economical and energy-efficient security camera system is created. Therefore, the advantages make this application ideal for respecting restricted or safe we use areas. | en_US |
