dc.description.abstract A web based bug tracking system is an application for software developing organizations that are working on different projects. The software works in a team environment where the program/code is tested; bug is detected and reported to the concerned developer. The developer after the rectification of bug notifies back. In this way the bug tracking system function as a efficient platform for assigning bugs in userfriendly environment. Bug tracking system contains database for bugs. It lets people report bugs and assign these bugs to the appropriate developers. Developers can use Bug tracking system to keep a to-do list as well as to prioritize, schedule and track dependencies. Bug tracking system can be the one of the most important data repositories in a Quality Assurance section for any software house. It makes them easy to generate report for different purposes according to their needs. This system is a multi-user system with different level of access right and with the most important feature of visualization. en_US
