ONLINE FOOD ORDERING SERVICE VIA ANDROID APPLICATION

Abstract

Over the years, technology has tremendously revolutionized the food industry. People are rapidly moving towards a smarter world, with implementation of smart cities, smart classrooms and smart phones. With rapid increase in the use of mobile phones, the desire for people to access mobile internet to get information and services from anywhere and everywhere has increased. There is an increase in number of restaurants and restaurant-goers which necessitates enhancement of the hospitality industry. Many people have requested a system that would permit a user to order meals on-line through an android application. This research work aims to design and implement an android food ordering system. With the online food ordering method, food is ordered online and delivered to the customer. This is made possible through the Cash on Delivery /Debit or Credit Card payment method. So, in this project we design a system which will allow customers to go online and place order for their food.
