dc.description.abstract Pulwama attack makes its way to the list of the deadliest terrorist attacks to have ever happened in Jammu and Kashmir killing 40 Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel. It happened on February 14, 2019, when a vehicle loaded with over 100 kg of explosive material was rammed into the bus of CRPF in the Pulwama district. The pulwama attack left many critically injured. This escalated the existing tensions between India and Pakistan with a continuous blame game from both sides. This study considered the framing of Pulwama attack in two popular newspapers, The News (Pakistan) and The New York Times (America), it was essential to focus on their popularity and circulation across the two nations in order to identify the extent of framing carried out by both the newspapers. The main focus of this research was on the content analysis methodology consulting the headlines of over 26 copies of both the newspapers. A time period of four months starting from Feb 15,2019 to June 2019 was taken under consideration for this research. The aim of this research was to identify the extent of framing in The New York Times and The News regarding Pulwama attack and the different frames that were used in this regard. en_US
