dc.description.abstract The final year project is based on effect of taxation on the economy of Pakistan. The significance and purpose of this project is to study taxation and its importance for the economy of Pakistan and understand how taxation can be used for the betterment of the society, reasons of poor tax structure in Pakistan and what are the methods that can be used to improve taxation. After researching on relevant topics, preparing report of the project and in this report; the report will be discussing our understanding of the topic and identifying the problems as well as finding solution for those. The basic idea behind choosing this topic was to understand why taxation has always been a major issue in Pakistan and why the governments have always failed to gain sufficient revenue from taxation. The report would start our project with introducing the topic and then would be discussing other subtopics of this report and at the last it would be concluding our report with recommendation. en_US
