dc.description.abstract Afghan Peace Process is the ray the of hope to end the decades long in Afghanistan, however the peace process is very complex due to involvement of many regional and international actors. President Trump policy in Afghanistan is facing number of complex issues such as the role of Taliban in the futuristic affairs of the country and intra- Afghan dialogues which remains in deadlock. The peace deal would not culminate unless the intra Afghan dialogues are followed with all stakeholders on board. The domestic issues of Afghanistan such as bad governance, economy, role of women, power sharing and the continued attacks by Taliban are impacting the peace deal. The peace deal has yet to achieve its objectives as the current pandemic and deadlock on prisoner swaps as halted the talks. Pakistan is playing its important role in the peace process as the war in the neighboring Afghanistan is matter of concern and having spillover effect on the security situation and stability. en_US
