dc.description.abstract This study aims to examine the multiple dimensions of working for the women of Pakistan. It focuses on both the positive and negative aspects alongside the obstacles faced by women who earn on their own. A qualitative study is conducted to analyze the responses of the working women to get an insight in to their lives, generating several themes from the data. The findings from this study exacerbate awareness about the importance of working, being financially independent and empowered, as a whole. Also, it emphasizes upon the hardships that make working for women difficult, especially in a patriarchal society. It helps understand different sort of implications of working for women. en_US
