Exploring the concept of development in district chaghi, A case study of saindak village

Abstract

This study explores the local concept of development in district chaghi, their experience regarding socio economic and political development. The focus group of this study includes the local people of saindak village. The study also analyzes the factors of underdevelopment in district chaghi, the situation of social infrastructure including health and education. To explore the saindak copper and gold project and its impact on locals. The need of attention and action on the poor conditions of people in saindak. This study deeply discussed the perception of people about the least development communities of naturally rich resources regions. It documents the conditions of human development in district chaghi and it also argues that the socio-economic perspectives of local people play an important role in human capital. This study is the first of its kind in district chaghi, to get a deeper understanding of local people perceptions regarding human development, about poor conditions of people, so that awareness can be raised and that can change the life standards of such people.
