| dc.description.abstract | This thesis presents parking of a car in a parking system autonomously . Parking a car in a parking is something that many drivers struggle or find it hard although there are a handful of utilities available with regard to car parking. Few auto manufacturers have developed systems that can park a car autonomously these solutions are very costly .The purpose of this project is to help drivers detecting parking space and help them to park a car. Our approach to this project is simple we have controlled the car with microcontroller whenever car has detected a vacant parking space with the help of sensor it tells microcontroller and then microcontroller directs the car for parking. We have used infrared sensors for detecting parking space that are placed on a car and vacant parking spaces. This project can be used on commercial places or in large industries where there are large number of cars and it is difficult for the driver to find vacant parking space. This project can be easily implemented on large parking systems as it is cheap and reduce time. | en_US |
