Abstract:
Searching the right and getting the appropriate schools was a difficult task for the students and
their parent’s up till now. Schools were never a match for their children abilities or the fees were
not in the parent’s budget. People used to know about the schools from different mediums such
as newspapers, advertisements and from different other people through verbal communications.
Which were basically little outdated techniques to select an appropriate school, especially in a
metropolitan city like Karachi. Karachi city has a wide range ofschools for different classes
without the discriminations and indifferences. But the question remains as to how to select a
school which is right for a student according to his/her abilities, location and feasibilities through
the wide range and without any hassle?
This question led to an idea for finding the solution of the above problems mentioned.
That idea was to make an updated hub that has all the relevant information about all the schools
in the locality ofthe city Karachi, which basically helps the people to search the schools that are
convenient to them.
Our Project Schoolinked is the central hub of information provided by the Schools to help
the parents, regarding the location, the up-to-date Fee structure, scholarship news, the eligibility
criteria, and the day-to-day news about what’s happening on the campus.
Our project basically provides a web based application being the hub of all information
so that they can finally choose between the best options and can get ease in providing their
children a better schooling environment
