Abstract:
This project conducts a research on the concepts of experiential learning under the context
environment using makerspace to conclude the changes that it brings in work space.
Experiential learning is considered as one ofthe promising approaches for learning science
education. This project requires us to collect information from the real world and conclude to
test our hypotheses and findings using “learning through doing” process.
The report ranges different methods used for the research of experiential learning, context
awareness and makerspace. Concluding the research, the following concepts will be tested in
a machine lab by making an application that provides experiential learning in a context aware
environment using makerspace called Perform It. Implementing from research, this project
will use a Bluetooth based tracking technology known as iBeacons for its mobile application.
