Abstract:
This is a very young research area with lots of PHD and MPHIL students/teachers
researching and writing research papers for others to help. There are also some
applications which are useful in SBIR such as pattern detection and web searching.
Touch screen technology has also improved chances of SBIR systems as everything
is just one touch away. In our work we are proposing SBIR which is based on
detecting simple shapes called keyshapes. SBIR systems will detect keyshapes from
sketches and bring out the relevant shapes/color or any other query related thing
already stored in our large database. At the end of the project we would have a
‘canvas’ for user to draw a sketch using computer mouse and the search tab would
bring out the relevant shape on other window
