dc.description.abstract In today’s industrial world three phase AC induction motor is considered to be the leading horse of the industry, many applications require variable speed and torque implementation. Applications that are driven by three phase AC induction motor and do not require full speed, by controlling its speed through variable frequency drive a considerable amount of energy can be saved. We have designed speed control system which controls the speed of motor through controlling the frequency of electric power supplied to the motor. Variable speed control system is designed and implemented through VF control method. Graphical user interface (GUI) is designed using LABVIEW. en_US
