| dc.description.abstract | World is facing severe energy crisis, the most excellent way to overcome the energy crisis is using renewable energy resources. Thousands of gallon of water have been wasted through our sewage system, if we use that water to produce electricity that will be beneficial. The main purpose of this project is to present a new alternative method for electric power generation based on utilizing waste water. A method adopted for generating electric power is the micro-hydropower generation system. Multiple features like designing the system, pressure of water weight of each component, compatibility of the micro hydro turbine system with available waste water, design model, whole system maintenance, weather conditions, material availability and specially the cost of the design for the reliable operations to get required output. Output power has been approximated at proposed different heads of sewage plant and waste water flow rate. Diverse types of the turbine-generator models for different head have been suggested for efficient operation of the micro hydropower system using waste water. A micro hydro power generation system based on waste water system has been designed, formulated, and practically followed out to provide reliable electric energy. | en_US |
