dc.description.abstract Purpose: The purpose of this research is to investigate the implementation of green supply chain management (GrSCM) practices and its impact on corporate performance (CP). The research in particular observes the results of implementing a set of GrSCM practices on different dimensions ofthe CP. Methodology & Design: This study, being the first of its kind in the Pakistan, developed a research model to test the relationship between five main GrSCM practices namely, green purchasing, internal environmental management, green manufacturing, eco-design, customer cooperation & three dimensions of corporate performance: social performance, economic performance, environmental performance. Statistical analyses were based on the data collected, through survey questionnaires, from seven steel industries in Pakistan. Reliability and validity of the research model were tested by the commonly accepted statistical tools. To test the hypotheses relating implementation of GrSCM practice and corporate performance, regression & correlation analysis was used. Findings: It is found that the green purchasing, internal environmental management, green manufacturing, eco design and customer cooperation shows significant relationship with the social and environmental performance of the organization except internal environment management & eco design has no impact on economic performance same as customer cooperation has no impact on environmental performance of the Organization. While all variables has no impact on economic performance ofthe organization. Limitations: to the realization environmental impacts and that manufacturing is greatly involved in the depletion of natural resources. : This study was limited to firms in manufacturing industry only, and this was due that manufacturing industry in any region accounts for a big portion of the of GrSCM practices improves corporate performance in required to decide on the corporate performance and accordingly select the appropriate GrSCM practices mix Recommendations: Execution different ways. Supply managers dimension they want to improve that leads to the desired level of improvement. en_US
