dc.description.abstract Purpose: The purpose of this study is to analyze the impact of training and development employee retention with the mediating role of work attitudes in the pharmaceutical sector of Karachi, Pakistan. on Methodology: Data was collected from 248 respondents of selected companies of pharmaceutical industry. Data was collected with the help of a questionnaire on a five-point Likert scale. Purposive sampling technique was used to collect data and PLS-SEM using Smart PLS version 3.2.8 was used for data analysis including algorithm, bootstrapping and blindfolding techniques. Findings: The results showed that perceived training and development negatively influence change-related anxiety and emotional exhaustion while positively influence employee engagement and job satisfaction. Furthermore, change-related anxiety has insignificant impact on employee retention, whereas emotional exhaustion has negatively impact on employee retention. However, employee engagement and job satisfaction have positively impact on employee retention. in their current designation and by getting remain satisfied from their job. As said, in satisfied with the same designation and job, thus learn more, helps them to be satisfied with their company and Implications: The employees have to be motivated regular training and development, the employees current world, the employees are not happy or by giving those opportunities to with theirjob. en_US
