Abstract
In this thesis research the impact of Information sharing and logistic integration on supply
chain performance. Supply chain integration is commonly considered by both practitioners and
researchers a vital role to supply chain performance. The two key flows in such relationships
are material flow and information. In this research we investigate the integrations of both
information and material flows between supply chain partners and their effect on operational
performance. We find that logistics integration has a significant effect on operations
performance. Information technology capabilities and information sharing both have
significant effects on logistics integration. Furthermore, this study proves that the level of
interaction and information sharing modes depend on the operational parameters, as well as
the flexibility available in a supply chain. Therefore, it may be more possible to introduce
additional flexibility instead of solely focusing on information sharing capability as a
coordination tool. The purpose ofthis research to identify the linkages and benefits between
the information sharing and logistic integration and also identified the impact on the supply
chain performance. Research design based on the two independent and one dependent variables
and evaluate the impact on the supply chain performance. It has been determined that the
researcher has used survey strategy through quantitative data. The quantitative data gathered
through the questionnaires. The target population is undefined so convenient sampling strategy
sent to the respondents out of which 162 is used for this research .200 questionnaire were
considered which means a response rate of 81%.The result analysis shows
responses are to be
that there is a positive impact
independent variables,
include Information sharing and
of Supply chain performance, However, Among the 2
both are considered to have an impact on supply chain performance that Logistic integration their impact is significant with p values of 0.003 and 0.000 respectively.
However both variable ha positive relation with supply chain performance.
