dc.description.abstract Ambition of this report is to bestow the description of cognitive operation of planning, designing and testing an Electric bicycle that makes common people independent of expensive fuels, fuel shortage that have been a major concern for people of Pakistan in recent times and people are looking for other means of transport and will enhance their confidence to live a bit easier life and play their active part in the welfare of their society and nation. Given that, this Electric bicycle helps poor people to overcome their problems and move around easily as it required less or negligible maintenance. For this purpose a DC brushless motor is used which provides main power to electric bicycle. Battery provides 36 Volts to motor for its running operation. Motor’s back electro motive force is controlled through a circuit .Limiting switch is designed to control the excess current that may cause in burning of motor. Efficient charger is designed that is used to charge the battery within 2 hours and maintain the utmost level of efficiency for long period of time. PIC is responsible to control motor’s operation. Throttle will control the speed of electric bicycle. en_US
