| dc.description.abstract | The main purpose of this project is to save water-based victims/objects. There are two methods to save water-based victims/objects i.e. through helicopters/sea planes or through boats. Air-borne vehicle is too expensive to perform rescue operations in the developing countries. Therefore, marine vessel/river-craft shows better efficacy in terms of economy in such countries. The idea of this project of Robotic Boat has made us able to control and rescue victims/objects in the most disastrous conditions without risking any human lives. The Robotic Boat consists of underwater sensor, GPS, GSM and a simple circuit, which makes this technology reasonable and responsive. A system consists of GPS , GSM modem interfaced to microcontroller is placed into the boat. In the boat, GPS consistently receiving the location updates from satellite, SMS is used as means of communication to pass these updates to the user. This received message from boat consists of LATITUDE and LONGITUDE values on a cell phone. This boat can be used for rescue purpose as well as search purpose. | en_US |
