Abstract:
Purpose: The aim ofthe study is to determine how some factors such as pay fairness, promotion,
organization commitment, supervisor support and organization culture can influence employeejob
satisfaction in Business Schools of Karachi, Pakistan. The objectives that have been proposed for
this particular study are to examine the relationship of job satisfaction with its independent
variables such as organization culture, pay fairness, promotions, organization commitment and
supervisor support and to analyze how these affect the employee’s performance and satisfaction
or dissatisfaction level in different Business schools of Karachi.
Methodology and Design: The researcher has used survey strategy through which quantitative
data is gathered. The quantitative data is gathered through the questionnaires. The questionnaires
were distributed among 350 employees, selected through simple random sampling technique. The
data was collected and the research is examined through statistical software SPSS.
Findings: The overall findings of this study show that there is positive relationship between
independent and dependent variables. The research results can be determined by stating that the
researcher has recognized answers for established research questions. Indeed, it has been noticed
that researcher has accomplished the goals and points since the majority ofthe tested hypotheses
are acknowledged aside from one which is pay fairness. The regression findings ofthe study show
that the model is fit and significant.
Implications: The future study must explore the factors driving the level ofjob Satisfaction or
dissatisfaction for the employees working in Business schools Karachi, of Pakistan. The future
research study must evaluate the importance of Job satisfaction for employee satisfaction with
regard to Education sector ofPakistan
