MEDIATING EFFECT OF SUPPLY CHAIN PERFORMANCE ON SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT STRATEGIES AND ORGANIZATIONAL PERFORMANCE: BASED ON TEXTILE SECTOR

Abstract

Purpose-The core aim of study is to find the Mediating Effect of Supply Chain Performance on Supply Chain Management Strategies and Organizational Performance. Through literature reviews we have found that these strategies have an indirect significant impact on organizational performance through mediator supply chain performance. Textile sector is selected for this research work in which we focused four Textile Companies. Methodology & Design - The research is quantitative in nature and data collection is done through questionnaire which is distributed in the selected Textile industries of Karachi. We have set a sample size to 267 from the population of 580 and we have collected data from the whole sample for the analysis process. Different statistics tests were used in this study which includes reliability test and Pearson correlation which test by using SPSS software and mediation effect test by using the JAMOVI software. Findings - Through this study we have found that all these variables are strongly correlated, and Supply Chain Management Strategies have a significant impact on Supply Chan Performance and Organizational Performance. Practical Implications -The supply chain management strategies are both financial and financial measure which significantly affects the supply chain performance and organizational performance in the textile sector of Karachi. By implementing these strategies in textile sector, we can achieve better results which improves the performance of the organization. This study has a limitation and it can be implemented in the textile sector of Karachi. Recommendations - This study is on the textile sector of Karachi, now someone should research on FMCG, pharmaceutical sector or in the plastic industry of Karachi. The data gathering is very hard as managers, and supervisor and decision makers have a very short time and we must request a lot for the fulfillment of data.
