IMPACT OF MEDIATION OF SUPPLY CHAIN CAPABILITIES BETWEEN DATA DRIVEN SUPPLY CHAIN AND FINANCIAL PERFORMANCE: A CASE OF AUTOMOBILE SECTOR IN KARACHI

Abstract

Purpose - The sole purpose ofthis research was to identify the impact of data driven supply chain on financial performance. Different literature reviews done in this research emphasized on the fact that the data driven supply chain impact on financial performance of the organization. In this research focus was on Automobile sector and further it was narrowed down to the four famous automobile firms based in Karachi. Methodology & Design - This research was of quantitative in nature and data was collected through close ended questionnaires distributed in selected Automobiles. The sample size was set to 127 and data was collected from entire sample for analysis. Different statistics tests were used in this study which includes Reliability test, Regression tests, and Bootstrap Analysis by using the ADANCO 2.0.1 software. Findings - This study result have showed that there is a positive relationship between the data driven supply chain and financial performance. Limitations &Recommendations-This research is done on the automobile sector of the Karachi and data is collected from the city ofKarachi and we didn’t collect any data from the outside ofthis city and results have been\ based upon the data that’s why results can only be implement in the automobile sector of Karachi. Secondly data collection process was very hard as General Managers, Managers, Assistant Managers, and Supervisors have been\ so much busy, they don’t have time to fill the data questionnaire so that this is also a limitation in the research. Now further, the next researcher can research on automobile sector in any city or can-do research on textile sector in Karachi or in any city.
