| dc.description.abstract | Purpose The purpose of this research is to highlight the issues of impact of product packaging on supply chain practices (customer satisfaction and supply postponement). This study also finds the relationship of product packaging and supply chain practices. This research mainly focuses on different manufacturing industries like textile industry of Pakistan. Methodology & Design: This research was of quantitative in nature and data was collected through close ended questionnaires distributed in selected Textile sectors. The sample size was set to 200 and data was collected from entire sample for analysis is 137. Descriptive analysis, reliability test and multiple regression tests were run by using SPSS tools for study Close ended questions were used to get responses of the Managers, Assistant managers a, supervisors and low level staff categories of the organizational employee in supply chain department. Questionnaires were sent to different people to get their responses through Google forms and hard copies were also distributed. Findings: Our results showed that there is positive and significant relationship of product packaging (packaging color, packaging material and ease of handling with customer satisfaction and postponement. Through this research we can say that it’s clear that by focusing on product packaging in Textiles Industries can achieve supply chain excellence at every step especially in strategy formulation. Limitations: This research is specifically done on variables studied and surveyed that can impact of product packaging. This study is helpful for the regulatory authority of supply chain department to improve their services to their customer and help to deduce the different elements which is no„-beneficial of any kind of product and its packaging, material, color, ease of handle | en_US |
