Abstract:
Purpose: The ultimate purpose of this research is to coming up with the evidence regarding i
some ofthe key concepts that had influenced greater in the technological adoption for supply
chain management.
Methodology & Design: The research methodology is based on survey. The instrument for
the collection of data is questionnaire which is primary data in nature. The data has been
collected from 424 respondents which belong to the field ofsupply chain.
Findings: The findings from the research showed that certain organizational factors and
environmental uncertainty impact organizations to adopt technology for supply chain and
also the adoption results in significant benefits for organizations. Several other studies also
show significant relation of organizational and environmental factors with technological
adoption.
Limitations: The data collection process affected due to number of constraints like time etc.
Availability and easiness in collection of responses from respondents working in supply
chain departments.
Recommendations: The technological adoption for supply chain should be catered on
consistent terms in order to gain competitive edge and for enhancing company’s
performance. Future researches can focus on larger scale and all other factors that impact
firms to adopt technology in supply chain.
