dc.description.abstract The present study was designed to study the impact of transformational leadership style on organizational commitment in employees of private banks of Rawalpindi and Islamabad. The sample of the study constituted of 60 employees from different private banks of the selected area. The data from the sample was collected through questionnaires. Questionnaire was based on five point Likert scale and it was divided in three parts. First part of questionnaire consists of questions regarding organizational commitment, similarly questions of second part were based on leadership style and the last part consists questions pertaining to demographics. The hypothesized relationships were tested using descriptive statistics in SPSS version 16.Major results indicated that transformational leadership effect strongly on organizational commitment of employees. en_US
