<description>Improving Logistics Transparency and Inventory Management in Retail Supply Chains through Digital Tracking and Supplier Communication Systems : A Case Study of Al Hadeed Company
Maheen Haider, 01-111222-069; Abdullah Shahab, 01-111222-010
This research looks into the significance of digital monitoring systems and vendor communication networks in enhancing transportation integrity and stock control throughout physical store construction-related supply networks, with particular attention to Al Hadeed . The investigation is on operational tasks of cement product and steel reinforced bars and storage facility coordinating procedures. A method of quantitative research founded on positivist theory alongside deductive approach was implemented to study the connections among electronic logistical standards, vendor collaboration, inventory management efficacy along with supply network outcomes. Basic information is extracted by way of structured polls shared across a number of personnel employed by distribution, store operations, purchase, control of stock, coordinating suppliers alongside operations oversight responsibilities. Stata was used for evaluating the data. 92 correct answers were considered. Statistical approaches were used to analyse the investigation targets, comprising descriptive statistical techniques, regression analysis, correlation analysis, a reliable testing alongside accuracy determination. The results show that electronic monitoring systems increase awareness of inventories, management of deliveries, precision of inventories alongside operational openness considerably. Techniques for vendor interaction also affect purchasing management, stock preparation and distribution timetables favourably. The evaluation of correlations revealed significant positive relationships between online tracking platforms, disclosure of transportation, stock management productivity, and production network effectiveness. Regression modelling further confirmed the predominant effect of internet-based monitoring tools on operational accuracy alongside stock effectiveness. The study finds that investments in computerized storage infrastructure and integrated vendor communications tools can exert a substantial beneficial effect on efficiency in operations in construction materials supply chains. The results provide practical recommendations for commerce construction companies to enhance stock control, minimize inventories, strengthen supplier relationships, and boost complete business transparency.

<description>Improving Supply Chain Efficiency through Forecasting and Digital Inventory Management : A Case Study of Sunlight Bakery
Sundas Pervez, 01-111222-258; Haider Hasan Tiwana, 01-111222-264
The operational activities and supply chain problems of a bakery business, “Sunlight Bakery,” located in Pakistan, that sells cakes, pastries, breads, cookies, and customized bakery products to individual and commercial customers were explored in this project. The study revealed that several key challenges exist: variation of demand, complexity of customized orders, inventory management problems, limited storage space, and manual operational processes. The external factors, such as fluctuations in raw material prices, seasonal fluctuations in demand, growing competition in the market, and power outages, and internal factors such as the limited use of technology, non-automated inventory systems, and limited production space, all further compound the problems. The study suggested practical and cost-effective solutions such as improved demand forecasting methods and digital order and inventory management systems. The recommendations are intended to increase operational efficiency, reduce waste, enhance supply chain performance, and improve customer satisfaction. The findings of this research may be useful for small and medium-sized bakery businesses in Pakistan.

<title>Between Personal Identity and Cultural Expectations: Exploring DecisionParalysis in GenZ Fashion Choices at Outfitter</title>

<description>Between Personal Identity and Cultural Expectations: Exploring DecisionParalysis in GenZ Fashion Choices at Outfitter

This study examines decision paralysis among Generation Z consumers shopping at OUTFITTER, one of Pakistan’s leading fashion retailers explicitly positioned around a Gen Z identity. While fashion consumption among Gen Z is widely understood as a vehicle for personal identity expression, Pakistani Gen Z shoppers negotiate this expression within a collectivist cultural context in which family and community expectations remain influential, creating tension between authentic self-presentation and cultural conformity. Adopting a positivist, quantitative research design, primary data were collected through a structured 15-item survey administered to 151 Gen Z respondents (aged 18–27 years) across OUTFITTER retail outlets in Rawalpindi/Islamabad and digital channels over a seven-day period in May 2026. Descriptive statistics and Pearson correlation analysis were used to assess the prevalence of decision paralysis and its association with family influence, peer influence, cultural conflict, and social media usage. The findings show that decision paralysis at OUTFITTER is widespread and consequential rather than incidental: a mean overwhelm score of 3.05 out of 5 and a purchase-abandonment rate of 63.6% confirm that indecision directly affects sales. Cultural conflict between personal fashion preference and family or community expectations was reported by 76.2% of respondents, while family (M = 2.97) and peer (M = 2.95) influence emerged as near-equal pressures, departing from Western literature’s tendency to treat peer influence as dominant. Social media usage for fashion guidance was the highest-scoring construct overall (M = 3.25) and was positively correlated with decision paralysis (r = 0.290), confirming its dual role as both an inspiration source and a contributor to overwhelm, while perceived cultural alignment with OUTFITTER’s product range was the lowest-scoring construct (M = 2.91). These results suggest that OUTFITTER’s challenge with Gen Z conversion stems not from a deficit of brand appeal but from a shopping environment that does not adequately support decision-making within a culturally complex context. The study concludes with five evidence based recommendations spanning store layout, in-store styling support, culturally anchored product development, size and trial-room accessibility, and the repositioning of social media as a decision simplifier, together with theoretical contributions to the literature on South Asian Gen Z consumer behaviour.
